The full event will be held in person at RTE headquarters in La Defense, Paris. 

The CIGRE Tutorial will be also available online remotely for those who cannot join. 

This event is organized alongside the Tutorial of CIGRE Working Group C2.42 “The impact of the growing use of AI/ML for power system operations from an operational perspective”. We decided to organize a full day event with additional presentations and discussions to foster connections in the power system community on this topic, connecting other initiaves likes projects, competitions, working groups. We hope this will be a catalyst to accelerate the much needed developments of AI/ML for future grid operations.

 This event is supported by CIGRE, CIGRE National French and Portuguese Committees, and RTE.

Agenda

Here is the anticipated agenda (CET time) to be updated with more detailed interventions:

• Morning 10am-noon: AI/ML for power grid simulation
  • Results of this competition https://ml-for-physical-simulation-challenge.irt-systemx.fr/powergrid-challenge/
  • Possible round table around digital twins and AI.  Presenters TBC
• Buffet noon-1pm
• Afternoon 1pm-4pm: CIGRE WG C2.42 Tutorial with short breaks and questions
• Afternoon 4pm-5:30pm: 15min spotlights on other initiaves (projects, working group, etc…). Presenters TBC
• Evening 5.30pm-7pm: Networking and discussion 

The next moning 19th a visit to the New Paris Control Room will be organized (but limited to 40 people). We will prioritize people coming from outside Paris region and on a first come/first serve basis in the applications. Check the box in the application form if interested.

Comme nous l’avons annoncé en début d’année, le CNF CIGRE va organiser son évènement annuel le mercredi 28 août 2024.

Il se déroulera salle 353 au Palais des congrès, porte Maillot, de 18h à 19h30.

Les points abordés seront :

• Résultats du sondage effectué par le CNF auprès de ses membres : témoignage de GE

• Trajectoire industrielle et pistes de sécurisation : témoignages d’industriels (RTE, Hitachi-Energies, Prysmian, GIMELEC) ;

• Actualités du CNF ;

• Remise des ‘’Awards CIGRE’’.   

Cette réunion se terminera par un pot de l’amitié.

Afin de mieux vous faire connaître CIGRE, nous organisons un webinaire le 20 juin de 16h à 17h30. Nous vous présenterons l’organisation de CIGRE, le processus de création et de participation à un groupe de travail, etc…  

Nous accorderons un point particulier à l’organisation du congrès parisien, évènement phare de CIGRE qui se déroule les années paires à Paris. Ce webinaire sera interactif et une place importante sera donnée à la réponse à vos questions.

Nous espérons vous retrouver nombreux pour ce webinaire. N’hésitez pas à partager cette invitation avec vos collègues intéressés par CIGRE mais pas encore membres.
