Passage de relais à la tête du CIGRE France : un nouvel élan pour l’énergie !

Le 13 février dernier, le Conseil d’Administration du Comité National Français du CIGRE s’est réuni pour faire le bilan des actions engagées et élire ses nouveaux dirigeants. Une transition importante qui marque un nouveau chapitre pour l’organisation dédiée aux réseaux électriques et à l’innovation énergétique.

À cette occasion, M. Vincent Thouvenin (RTE) a été élu Président, succédant à M. Jean Nakache. Un immense merci à ce dernier pour son engagement et son leadership qui ont largement contribué au rayonnement du CIGRE France.

Autre nomination clé : M. Philippe Roussel (GE) rejoint l’équipe en tant que Vice-Président. Félicitations à lui pour cette reconnaissance méritée !

Par ailleurs, la gestion financière du Comité évolue également avec l’arrivée de M. Yannick Rest (Gimelec) au poste de Trésorier. Il succède à M. Philippe Tailhades, dont nous saluons le travail accompli au service de l’association.

Nous souhaitons plein succès à cette nouvelle équipe dirigeante, soutenue par l’ensemble des administrateurs et notre communauté d’experts engagés pour l’avenir des systèmes électriques !

Merci à tous ceux qui font vivre le CIGRE France au quotidien et contribuent à l’évolution du secteur de l’énergie. 🚀⚡

Le Hackathon organisé par CIGRE France NGN, mis à l’honneur dans la REE 2025-1 !

Les 10 et 11 octobre 2024, une cinquantaine d’étudiants ont relevé le défi d’innover pour la gestion des réseaux électriques de demain. Un événement inédit pour la communauté CIGRE, désormais mis en lumière dans le dernier numéro de la Revue REE de la SEE – Société de l’électricité et de l’électronique.

Soirée de remise des Prix 2024 – IEEE PES

Le bureau français de l’IEEE PES vous convie à la soirée annuelle des prix des doctorants et ingénieurs de l’année 2024.

Nous débuterons par la remise du prix de l’« outstanding engineer » à Hani Saad en sa qualité d’expert technique dans les liaisons HVDC et l’intégration des énergies renouvelables dans le réseau. Ses contributions s’étendent de projets concrets d’installation à la conception de futurs projets tout s’impliquant dans différentes organisations de pré-normalisation.

Nous poursuivrons avec la remise du prix du doctorant de l’année à Elie Salhab qui nous présentera ses travaux de recherche sur une approche de la localisation des défauts sur les réseaux HTA avec méthode de discrimination des solutions multiples. Ces travaux apportent une avancée scientifique et industrielle dans la capacité à déterminer avec précision la distance et la ramification du défaut dans un réseau HTA. Enfin, Thi Thu Ha Pham, nous présentera le projet de Schneider Electric sur l’électrification du processus de production d’acier vert, alliant décarbonation et flexibilité de la demande industrielle.

CIGRE Netherlands-Women in Energy has the pleasure to invite you for the webinar Collaboration on energy transition across boundaries on the 13th of June from 9.00-12.30 CET.

 

With the commitment to reduce CO2 emissions, we are confronted on a daily base with the challenges involved in transmitting and distributing renewable energy to our end users with a grid reliability percentage we are nowadays used to.

New entrants appear in the world of power systems resulting in the necessity of new collaboration towards a jointly successful global energy transition. In this webinar Collaboration on energy transition across boundaries we will focus on the status, challenges and collaborations needed between the “old and new power system world” from a renewable energy production and system integration perspective of six different countries.

Programme

Under moderation of the vice chair of CIGRE Women in Energy, Biljana Stojkovska, the Women in Energy chairs Neo Mapapanyane, Dilek Gursu, Ann-Sofie Bonde Mortensen, Diana van den Heuvel, and Laurie-Anne Clement Charpentier of the countries South Africa, Turkey, Denmark, the Netherlands and France will share highlights of their country being part of the “new entrants” CIGRE vision. 

Aradhna Pandarum and Ebru Arici will elaborate on the status of solar and wind production in South Africa and Turkey, the status so far and the challenges ahead. Integration of hydrogen, sector coupling and climate and sustainability in Denmark, the Netherlands and France will be presented by respectively Anne Kikkenborg, who will highlight the importance of the established infrastructure of renewable energy projects in Denmark, and describe which political initiatives that have been set up or are under development aiming to support the development of future hydrogen projects.

Annemiek Asschert will show us step by step how sector integration takes place in the Netherlands and the complexity on an increasing amount of sector interfaces to be handled for which collaboration is needed more than ever. 

Marcela Mantilla will complete the picture of sector integration with the status and challenges ahead around climate and sustainability in France.
